Provide as much information as you can to help us in our search and we will do our best to help reunite you and your pet. We advise owners of lost animals to physcially come to the shelter to check for your lost animal. In many cases descriptions of animals may not match the description given by the shelter staff. Calling without physically checking the shelter will not protect your right to claim a lost animal. Most animals are placed for adotpion after three days at the shelter and at that time become the legal property of the adoptor. 

Here is some useful information you should try and include:

• Your Name and address
• Your email address
• Your home, work and/or cell phone numbers
• Name of pet
• Photo of your missing pet
• Type and breed of pet
• Any colors, or distinguishing marks
• Approximate size and weight
• Collar type, was it wearing identifying tags, is it micro-chipped
• The date the animal was lost, and the location if not in your home neighborhood
• Any other helpful information
