POSITION: PARK HOST. This position is classified as temporary, part-time, 15 hours per week, exempt from Civil Service and not represented by a bargaining unit.CLOSING: This recruitment is an open recruitment with candidates considered as opportunities in the various Parks occur. SALARY: $9.50 per hour depending on experience, with no benefits available

DUTIES: Monitor Park activities. Accept fees and donations. Some on site maintenance and custodial work required. Ensure positive relations with Park users, campers and staff.
TO QUALIFY: High school diploma/GED preferred. Some related work experience required with preference given for prior experience in a related field. Candidates must be able to provide stable and consistent oversight of the Park. Position requires ability to perform maintenance duties (raking leaves, lifting items, emptying garbage cans, walking over uneven terrain etc.).
HOUSING AVAILABLE: While not a condition of employment, a site with hookups may also be available for RV or fifth wheel hookup or there is a mobile home available for rent at the Park. Rents vary by Park and Hosts must also pay the costs of electricity and personal phone calls. A cleaning deposit is required plus a pet deposit, if any. There is a limit of 5 people who may reside in the mobile home with a maximum of three personal vehicles. No smoking. A utility deposit may be required from the utility company as well.
