The Columbia County Commission on Children and Families is responsible for convening, facilitating and leading Columbia County in assessing the conditions which contribute to the well being of people living and working in Columbia County. The resultant document is called the coordinated Community Comprehensive Plan for Children and Families and Juvenile Crime Prevention Plan.
This document incorporates information about our children, families and communities from a variety of sources, including over 20 other plans. These planning efforts are required by the State of Oregon. They are intended to guide public funding so that quality services are provided. We invite you to explore Columbia County’s plan, remembering it is a snapshot in time.
We urge you to continue to learn about how vibrant communities are created and sustained by visiting the sites referenced in the plan. Please visit the Commission’s other pages in our website to learn how you can be an active part of healthy community development.
Thank you for your efforts to create a positive future for our children and families!
