Columbia City Residential Reappraisal - February thru June 2016
All residential properties within the city limits of Columbia City are in the process of being reappraised for the 2016-17 tax year. Columbia County staff appraisers will arrive in a marked county vehicle and will be wearing a blue-gray vest with the county logo in front and ASSESSOR clearly visible on the back. Contact will be made with property owners who are home at the time of the inspection, however, there will not be an attempt to contact owners who are not home unless it is determined that additional information is necessary to complete the appraisal. Most properties will be reappraised using data currently in our records combined with a limited exterior inspection to determine changes in inventory or condition.
